What Do Our Crown Services Look Like?

Our work goes above and beyond routine teeth cleanings and average dental work. The smile experts at Cirocco Dental Center offer comprehensive crown services to restore your smile to its former glory.

Porcelain crowns the best option when in need of a crown, as they can be designed to match the shade of your teeth. We also can provide full gold crowns and porcelain fused to metal to give you choices when deciding what type of crown is best for your teeth.

The crown process typically takes two to three visits so we can ensure you get the best solution for your tooth.

The First Visit

On your first visit to our office, we file down your enamel to reshape your tooth so the crown can be placed over your tooth. To avoid any discomfort, we will administer a local anesthetic. Once we reshape your tooth, we will take a mold of the tooth and the surrounding teeth. We then send this mold to a dental lab so they can create a crown just for you! Before you leave, we will give you a temporary crown to protect your teeth in the meantime.

The Second Visit

Once we receive your custom crown, we’ll bring you back to our office so we can fit your permanent crown. We’ll numb the area and set your tooth in place to give you your smile back!

Other Visits?

Depending on the complexity of your tooth issues, or due to poor overall oral health, you may need additional consultation. But don’t worry! No matter what the case may be, Cirocco can help. We’re a full service dental healthcare provider.

How To Care For Crowns

If you have a dental crown, the best way to care for and maintain them is through good, regular oral health practices. This includes brushing your teeth regularly at least twice a day and flossing twice a day as well. Pay special attention to you back molars, as they are the most likely to get missed, which can lead to cavities and further tooth decay.
